Yup! One of those Santas is Robb Nash.....and anyone who knows him, knows he wouldn't dress up in a Santa suit for just anybody!

When Paul Scharf, President of Hitrac, invited him to a Winnipeg Jets game on Dec. 15th with the caveat that he dress as Santa, well, let’s just say Robb wasn’t too thrilled. Then he learned that ALL of the invited guests would be dressed as Santas and they’d all be bearing gifts—in fact, donations for The Robb Nash Project! So, in good faith, Robb put on a red suit and joined the jolly group at the game.

“I was completely blown away by the support from all the Santas. We can’t thank Paul and the team at Hitrac enough for inviting us out. They introduced us to some good people and with their help, we’re able to get the curriculum into more schools.”

“Wearing the extremely warm Santa suit wasn’t so bad, but I drew the line with the beard,” laughs Robb. “It was a good time. Can you tell which one is me?”

Santa Scores!
$34,400 at a Jets game

This is the 4th year that Paul Scharf and the Hitrac team have hosted the Santa event in a suite at the Jets game, bringing together 20 like minded people and raising funds for charity in the process. Hitrac matches all donations made by the Santas.

“When we suggested The Robb Nash Project to the group and provided a link to the website it was a unanimous decision to get behind the charity,” says Paul. “This was also the largest amount we have ever raised!  It all had to do with the passion to support and the great people we had attending the event. The night was even better because Robb was able to attend.”

“This is a great cause that makes a difference instantly and has a long-lasting impact for the people that are exposed to Robb and his team’s message,” adds Paul.

The Robb Nash Project thanks Hitrac and all of Santa’s Helpers for their generous and enthusiastic support!

Hitrac has supported The Robb Nash Project in many ways over the years from sponsoring fly in trips to northern communities to supplying the band trailer to haul concert equipment. We are grateful for their creative and heart felt help.
